would a old non-narrow band radio work with a narrow band receivers?

i have a old magnum pcm 1024 FP-T3PB that is non-narrow band and i need a new receiver but todays receiver are all narrow band..will i have incompatibility/interference problems between my old radio and the receiver?

IIRC, wide band radios aren't legal here in North America as of 1991. Wide band radios tend to splash into neighboring channels thus making it dangerous to use.

I highly recommend AGAINST using the transmitter.
