I would like to street bash with my monster pirate. I do have a set of road rage on mt3 wheels. the problem is I have to release the throttle to much to make a turn. I have lowered the chassis for on-road but that doesn't help. I would like to be able to keep some throttle on during a turn.
thanks in advance.

higher oil weight, stiffer springs or compress existing ones. If it 'plows', wheels turn, truck doesn't, stiffen the front more than the rear, if it looses the tail, or spins, stiffen the rear more than the front.
Also gor better handling, lighter is always better-try to lose some uneccessary weight, or move the weight front<->rear depending upon traction issues. Also lower the CG if you can by mounting things such as servos and battery packs lowerRemember MT's are heavy by nature and will never handle as well as a TC

and a better steering servo is usually an instant improvement

I will try the springs and different oil in the shocks. It seems like when the truck starts to turn one of the front tires loses contact with the ground and that makes the back end come around and causes it to flip over.

if the front tires lose traction, the truck should 'plow', and not spin, simply not turn. If the rear loses traction, it should spin, or oversteer. Does your truck turn too much(spin), or just not turn enough(plow). The two conditions require exactly the opposite 'cures'.

The truck goes into the turn with almost full throttle when I start the turn I have to let completely off the throttle in order for the truck to make the turn without turning over. If I go into the turn to fast the truck will lose grip on one of the front tires the back end spins around and then the whole truck flips over several times. It seems like the backend gets sideways and the truck flips.

it sounds like you have 2 problems
1.) the rear end slips out(tighten up the rear shocks)
2.) flipping, lower the truck, lower the CG, and stiffen all shocks(rear more than front).

One problem that even shows up on dirt racing the Dominator isthat the servo saver spring tension is too weak and will give when turning. For on road I suggest that you drill out a wheel nut and put it at the top of the saver to add tension to the saver spring. Heavier oil and springs will help handling. learning to tap the brake to shift weight transfer to the front before a corner is also important. You also definitely need a servo that will hold the steering angle also. A easy way to add more front traction is to adjust the ride height in front alittle lower than you now have it. Also add swaybars to help with that lifting tire problem .

my TC does the same thing... if i attmept a turn from WOT, it will start to turn then traction roll... you ahve no choice but to slow down... as stated above, if you want onroad handling, get an onroad car...

thanks for your help in the matter. I will try the springs and shocks. I know they are stock so I will change them. Also I would like to know if the dominator front shock tower makes that much difference in the handling??
