Where the heck did you find a brand new 11cc K&B? I would love to find one 11cc-13cc.

With any of those boats, you're looking at mid to upper 40's possilby low 50's if everything is right, water, setup, ....

I love those tunnels.

GOT THE K&B BUG!!!!!!!! JUST WAIT UNTIL YOU GET THEM BROKE IN GOOD!THEN THE FUN BEGINS YOU CAN DO ALL KINDS OF THINGS TO THEM.I HAVE THREE TUNNELS WITH K&B'S ON THEM TWO DUMAS HOT SHOTS 3.5 AND A 7.5 ONE OF THE 3.5 HAS THE SS AIR COOLED MOTOR ON IT THAT REALLY HAULS BUTT. I RUN RED MAX 50% NITRO IN THEM A 50/20 BOAT MIXTURE IN THEM.ALSO THE PISTON AND SLEVE HAS BEEN CUT DOWN TO ALLOW BETTER AIR FUEL MIXTURE AND MODFIED LOWER ENDS. I DONT RECONMEND DOING THIS UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING I HAVER A FRIEND WHO DID THIS FOR ,BUT ALSO HAS BEEN RACING K&B TUNNEL FOR 20 YRS. WELL HAVE FUN WTH THEM BE CAUSE I SURE DO THE K&B'S CAN BE A LOTS OF FUN. ALLEN:D

The tunnel racers around here are using 55% Redmax with 20% synthetic. Because I get my fuel from them, I am running 55% Redmax with 20% synthetic in a ported Traxxas Pro .15, and have seen only a trace of detonation (pitting of the piston face). Anyone that races uses what wins, even at the cost of reliability and longevity. If you want to do sport boating, use what the engine manufacturer recommends, if you want to win races, do what the racers do ( when in Rome, do what the Romans do).

KG4, you should have come down to Milford for the Internats! There were plenty of 7.5 tunnels, motors and whatever else you might need for sale. Bob Kensill had a nice setup for like $285.00 with servos. With the 11cc motor you really won't see much difference in speed. That is why you don't see many raced, they aren't worth the expense and weight for hardly any performance gain.
BTW, I still have that 7.5 DPI for sale, the price is dropping.

LOL,

Man, I was just pulling your chain. Don't read into it, it was just a little poking around. Its not my style. I've got enough enemies to worry about without having to make others and this approach didn't work.

Youre right. I don't know you as a person, but I will say that you seem to know what you're talking about and if I was a hard core racer I'd be picking your brain.

Please accept my apology.

Gotta say, I don't know of anyone who post here who who is an Ars. We all rub people the wrong way sometimes, but here you can pretty much bet it was unintentional.
