Does anyone have pictures or info of a real clodbuster (not the fake ones people make with machinery thierselves and say oh look at my clod) but the real thing is it plastic:confused: and is it any good.

Stock plastic clods are crap imo. They have very little suspension travel, the shocks are not oil filled, the steering is very sloppy and they come with plastic bushings. The only good part about a stock plastic clod is seriously the gearcases and even those need bearing and adjustable motor mount plates to run different pinions. also.. the "Fake ones" that you seem not to like are the racing chassis clods.
Check these links for good Clod chassis.
I run the RCguy.com Geko chassis on my clod
Rc Guy.com (http://www.rcguy.com/)
Thunder Tech racing (http://www.thundertechracing.com/)
RC4wd (http://www.rc4wd.com/shop/go.cgi)
This is just a start too there aer lots more chassis out there.

Agreed with everything SixVi6-Camaro said. Buy a Clod, scrap everything but the gearboxes, and start over.

I got this like 12 years ago, I just slapped it together a few months ago to see how it looked again. I didn't mount the shocks, but that's how my Dad got it from some guy:
Edit-
Ok, I already attached this image to a post, it's in the Tamiya Clod Buster thread, I forget where. The Clod is all chrome with a Ferrari red body.

I swear I've seen people make the later chassis and just use txt 1 parts to finish it of. (i hate that)

u need to do some studying before u go assume thing and hate it from assumption.
a clod can not be converted into txt... even with TXT parts.
the txt uses a real drive line much like that on a real monster truck. A Clod has it's motors and drive train mounted on the axle.
the ladder chassis u say people make and finish off with txt parts are probably the hop up chassis u can buy.
the Real custom chassis people make themselves from SCRATCH, are either tubed frame or a custom frame. However some Tube frames can be bought, only one that comes to mind is the New Era tube chassis for the clod.
here's mine (custom frame):

here's a tube frame (custom):

and here's an aftermarket TXT chassis with CLOD axles (looks real nice if u ask me):

how would u make ur own clod? i still dont understand.
the only thing that people use from a clod are just the axles and wheels and sometimes the body.

I have a stock Clod and a JPS conversion Clod.
They are both fun and serve a purpose for me.
My JPS is used for racing and climbing, general use.
My bone stock Clod has the ESP Snow Plow on it and a trailer for my other R/Cs. I hardly use it and it's more a shelf queen. It is made to look indectical to the box art. I use it for pictures and the such also. The 4WS and the beautiful body are what makes it so much fun to use for me.
The stock clod is nto good for severe off road use. Most cheap stadium trucks can outperform the stock clod in every situation.
