for all you TC guys out there, hwo ahve you managed to keep the suspention stiff enough to support the beast and gottne it lower too? right now im running trinity black springs all the way around and it just traction rolls too easy...
it rolls on asphault and on the track... being a guy who doesnt liek using the brakes, i dont like my truck rolling, id rather have it slide a bit...

ive got 70 wt oil, and im happy with that, but what would you suggest as far as different springs to lower my truck and still keep the stability and stiffness?

i need the springs i ahve, but 3/4 inch shorter or so... im looking to drop my truck about an inch, but no more than 2...

any help is appreciated. . .

also: as far as flipping onroad, im fine with it... it looks cool anyway... i just want to have a bit more stability on the track. . .

Have you tried 3" Touring Car(TC) shocks on it? I'm constantly switching shocks on my MT, and the most stable I ever had it was with Yokomo MR4-TC shocks, allthough I've run it with HPI rally, and TB-01 rally shocks as well.
I run Duratraxx 4"s on it now, and it's great for rockcrawling, and bashing, but at high speed it gets very unstable.
If you don't want to switch shocks, your best bet would be to go to the LHS and just see if they'll let you 'try on' some shocks. I do this with parts all the time.

im looking to keep the stock shocks, just change springs, and qizen, im using the stock wheels/tires... unfortunately, i can spend $20 on springs and a rebuild, but i cant spend $150 on new wheels/tires...

You should be able to adjust how high you want your ride to be with the limit snap-on things. Ya know, those little plastic pieces that you clip onto the shocks? I would try the Trinity blue springs, 60 or 65 WT oil, and no shock snap-ons. Then you can adjust the ride height with the snap-ons if you don't like it without them.

I know what you are talking about bro. Been there with my 2.5 Maxx. It weighed about 8 pounds or so and I had the Dynamite shock set. I put 50 wt. oil in and with the stock springs, I could adjust the ride height to anywhere I wanted it using the threaded collars. Now, with my MP I use the little clip on things and it works great. You don't want too hard of springs that you can't tune your suspension, which is what I think your problems is.
