My track was allowing 1/8 buggy and maxx/dominator/savage type trucks together as there was never enough for separate classes. I raced truck last year (terra crusher with mulchers) and had fun. I wanted to try out 1/8th buggy, and ordered a Lx Pro (I am cheap). So, before the buggy gets here, they change and make two separate classes. OK, so what do i do when no one shows up with the 1/8 buggies, I am not allowed to race with maxx trucks.

My solution for the days there are no buggies at the track. I bought a Ultra Lx Gt rolling chassis for a good price. For the meantime, I will use nitro quake body mounts for my siera body I have from a different project. I have a set of mt3 rims, and have not decided what tires (either mulchers, paqman, meat grinders or ofna tires, not sure of the name). Ofna .25, paris pipe (the low end one, al650 I think). Now, for the spur, thinking of just buying a dirt demon 12T clutchbell and try my luck. I will be running aluminum clutch shoes so heating and slipping should be minimal. Now, should I go with this high gearing, or just cut the chassis and put a Monster Pirate center drive in there? Your thoughts?

First off - The pipe is the AL650. I have one. It's great.

Second - you need a MP slipper. Don't get the spool. Make sure it's the slipper or a diff. Make sure you use the 13T bell with the MP stuff.

Third - Mulchers are great. Get em!
