Hi everyone, looks kind of slow around here so I’ll try to get some interest going! I am currently building a Royal Corsair .60 from the old Royal plan. I am also doing my best to document everything on my home page. Scale appointments include a scale tail wheel with operable tail hook, full cockpit, all eight doors work, scale flaps, panel lines and rivets, sliding canopy and a few other goodies! Yes it will fly, no hangar queens!

Here is my home page:

Royal Corsair Project Home (http://home.earthlink.net/~l.zollner/)

Make sure you sign my guest book and include that you came through the RC Zone.

If you have any questions I’ll answer them here. If you have some information for me, great!

For those that might say, wow another Corsair, big deal right? Wrong!:D Check out the tail wheel I made! I show how I did it too! Yes the tail hook is fully functional!

Been working on the fuselage, haven't had time to update my site. I have finished all of the detail on the fuselage, just need to finish the cowl detail. It has detail but you just can't see it yet!

Wow, that tailwheel is awesome. Your attention to detail is very good.

That is a beautiful piece of work it's no wonder your web site has maxed out.

DionysusBacchus, nice job all the way around. You should (at least I hope) you document in high res. images. We could use a great how to article in Model Airplane News. Let me know if you are interested in getting a few bucks for your trouble.

Luke, Gerry Y is right in saying you should document your accomplishments with this aircraft. While I was at work, I found myself thinking of how you built the tail wheel. I have a very keen interest in the Corsair and would be very happy to see a "How to" article. If you don't want to publish your design is there any chance you could send me the specs?

Gerry, if this does go to print is there a chance you could drop me a line to let me know which edition it will be in; I know you will have to coordinate with Luke first so I don't expect it to be soon.

Thanks

Man, I posted this a while back! What is it you wanted for the article? I may be interested in doing something like that. If it's a tail wheel I'll build one just for the article, no problem. That way we can do it right.

Bronco Buster, I'll let everyone know if this makes it to print!

Hey Dion, yes, indeed, if you would like to get published, please email me at gerryy@airage.com or call at 203 894 3661! Your tail wheel looks fantastic! We can do a great How To Article! Look forward to hearing from you!
Cheers,
