Hey guys. I'm curious on something and I'm hoping somebody can hook me up here. I'm running a 72" deep-vee with twin Quickdraw 35's. Also using a the Merc 5's but with a flex drive version......not the gear driven version from MHZ.
Looking to see if anyone has a set of the gear drive units and how much power loss they have encountered as well as any gear failure or extreme upkeep on them.
My boat absolutely flies right now but I would love to get rid of the flex shafts from under the hull. Anybody have any experience with this stuff?
