Which do you think is better for a MT? I personally think its gas but I live on 8 acres and can pretty much thrash the truck anytime I want. My friend who is wondering though lives in the city and has maybe a half acre (of grass) to drive on and he can go down to the local school and race in the parking lot. What would be better for his situation?

with such a tiny area, theres not much room for a nitor to wind out. . . lahf an acres would cut it, but what happens when he doesnt feel like going to the grassy area or parking lot? id assume hed want to drive a bit inside, so id have to sya electric, as long as he getsa a charger thatll charge dual batteries. . .

I would say niytro because you don't have to wait to charge the batteries, nitro has more power unless you want to spend $400 for a brushless, also the sound and smell of nitro. My favorite thing with nitro is the brute force. You can literly go through anything.

True, but like I said he lives in the city.

About going through anything, I have pretty much taken my nitro pede through about everything this year but snow. I just got it so winter this year should be fun. I will probably build a whole snow track. lol :p

When it comes down to run times Nitro is the way to go no matter where you live. Electrics less on the front end but cost your buddy more in batteries. Hmmmm should I spend 200 bucks and charge many batteries and a charger that is worth a crap to get 10 minutes of run time per battery or spend 25 bucks a gallon for fuel and run for hours of run time then spend 30 minutes cleaning at the end of a day.

It is a choice.
