OK, I bought a used E-maxx, and I'm in the process of rebuilding it to check/repair/replace anything the previous owner broke. I was just wondering, should I repack the diffs with grease, or is there something better? Should I seal the diffs, and is there a way to also seal the dogbones so that grit doesn't bind them up so badly? I was thinking along the lines of a baloon or something similar to shock boots. I'm also fabricating my own skidplates, because i know the plastic ones won't hold up very long, they didn't for the previous owner. Also, what shock oil WT do you guys think I should use for the AE aluminum shocks? I'm gonna be bashing with the truck mostly. I might race it a little, just informal against friends, and not stomach churning air, but some hang time would be nice....
