I recenty bought one of these and ran into a problem in my car. The motor was a 27t Firehawk and the pack was 1500mAH 7.2 Vdc.
The car ran strange for about 1 min before the car STOPPED. The car never got to full speed. I suspect the motor is suspect cause the 2nd pack did absolutly nothing. Only the steering worked.
The ESC had led blinking when I applied throttle Solid Green to No green when at full. So I think the ESC was working.
QUESTION
When the LRP goes into Thermal protect, Are the outputs shutdown or is the whole ESC off?
If the servo worked then the ESC was not completly OFF
I think its the motor but haven't a chance to check it yet.
