yeah i have a 6 pack of 2400's i think there ni-mh... but my charger broke and my dad has one from his old rc car but it only charges at 6 and 12 volts..., which one would be the best one to charge it at...??

none of the above. you need a charger that can charge 6 cells, or 7.2 volts. both 6 and 12 volts will fry the packs.

It needs to be charged at about 4-5 amps.

well yeah i normaly charge it at 4 amps but then my charger broke so... ok thanks for your help...

so charging below 4 amps(like 1 amp) would kill the battery???? hows that...??

low current wouldn't kill it, but the performance would not be good, longish runtime but low voltage. I wouldn't charge 24s above 6 amps, I normally use 5 amps.

I suggest getting a new charger, 2400s are NiCad cells and there are many cheap chargers available for them.

Guy at the track charges his at 9amps, he has a bionic wallet!!

A 6 -12 volt charger was for automotive battery charging about a 2 and 6 amp rate. A 5 amp rate is best for all around use and longevity. Higher rates gives a little more punch (hardly noticeable in recreational use) but shortens the cells life.
