This is one great charger. The only thing better would be if it was AC. Look at Reedy's Quasar Pro....

Reedy's Quasar Pro has a metal case and if you walk across a carpet and accidentally shock it......it shorts.:(

Well, I picked up one on eBay for $56 including shipping and I though I would give my .2 cents on it.
I have had many a chargers in my time. Turbo 35 GFX, Tekin 112a & c, Novak millennium pro's and Reedy Quasar pro's, CE Pitbull and some others I can't even remember. I have to say that this Pulsar sport is one of the better ones. For a D/C charger under $150 you may not be able to get much better. Why? Well it charges 1 to 8 cells. That includes glo starters and 3 cell packs for comm lathe's to 8 cell for transmitter's. I set the delta peak at 20 mV and I can do NiMH & NiCad with that setting. You can change the voltage on the fly so if you are running behind you can bump up the charge without stopping and setting and restarting. The case is plastic so you can't shock the charger and short it out. To sum it up I don't think you can get a better base D/C charger for the money. Specially if you get it slightly used and cheap.
