Indoor carpet track in central NC?

Is there one? I will be getting an electric tourer 1/10th soon, however I wouldn't want to start racing my first car anytime soon. Maybe this fall or winter, but the outdoor tracks will be closed. Is there an indoor track within a 1.5 hour drive of Raleigh??

Hopefully Glenn will have the track at Rosewood done in plenty of time! I think that should only be about an hour from Ral.! Goto the rosewood forum here and ask when it maybe gettting fininshed!

thanks. I will probably get it in enough time to practice and set up at the track in Durham, but probably not race there. However, a carpet set up for the car would be a little different. Still, I may just go watch at the carpet track if I have time to LOL

There is a small indoor carpet track in Mebane, NC. It's called Thursday night Speedway, 919 563 7034.
