I saw the article in Model Airplane News, and fell in love with the plane.
I have built and flown electric planes and think I should move up to small gas. The looks are the "Bomb" and the size is even better. I am buying the plans soon and I would like your input on this plane. I am not familiar to covering with monokote but I heard it is easy.
please talk to me about this plane, and suggestions on how to make it more scale.

single lol... I am with cars as of now, though I still love airplanes. I was too dag-um hyper then. I figure I will mature a little more and get into a profession then find time to build and fly. I look back and I seemed like the little annoying 12 yr old who knew everything. I realise that now and I am on this forum to give advice and ask questions, not too lead others astray with what I dont know...
well Im off the soap box. I noticed you are a recent new member? welcome

Hey Yeeehaw, I suspect that you are talking about the .20-size Sopwith Camel designed by John Tanzer. Let us know if you are still thinking about converting it to electric. I built JOhn's similarly sized Fokker D-VII. Great flying designs.

it looks as if I will be waiting till the end of next year to get back into planes. I will be going to BASIC in late September and my tech school will last 27 weeks total then I need a car, house supplies, yadda yadda yadda........ohhhhh this sucks lol but it makes the plane that much more exciting to build. I still plan on it being brushless electric. I really think I am finished with nitro since brushless motors came out....
