Not that I really would do it, but..........

Sounds like a plan.
Some quick release mounts for the whole saw and 'wha' la'. We now have a dual purpose machine !
Tearing up the limbs in the yard one moment and the lake the next.:D

Chainsaw motors have been done before so I say we talk Double into it. His wife will LOVE us I tell ya!!:D if rotation is a problem somebody over at jims sells props for counter rotating motors.
Double..... Double....... Double...... LN chants
Ok here is one. What about mounting one of the inducted jet model engines to say a shallow vee. Seriously now fellas. could it work? if so I'm sure its been done, if not I think I have a mission for me.

lovin,
that is a great idea...... however starting the engine could be an issue. maybe a flex cable for starts or somethin' , how about a ducted fan engine thru a nozzle to make it a "air Jet" boat?

I'm an exquisite conesoure of the fine beverages that made honky tonks what they are.:D
Jet boats, NOPE. I'll stick with chainsaw powered, I MEAN WEEDEATER boats:D
But if you think about it... it was only $130 shipped.
Better to do it now and ask for forgiveness later right.
Dang and I'm actually searching for a good rigger boat now. Even in Nitro.

I'm highly interested in the rigs like Ron O is building. Something small for a .15-.21.
Not looking to mess around much with installation. Maybe the radio, but thats about it.
Price is a deciding factor too. Got a sharp eye on ebay. ;)
email me if you've got something laying around w/engine.

Sweet engine! The one critical part you would need to run it in a R/C boat would be a "right hand prop" seeing as how that engine spins the opposite way, as do most chain saw engines.

Just pokin' around.
Its already serving its purpose in the back yard, but good info for someone considering it.
Besides, I'm too lazy. :D

DD at the moment I don't have one just laying around. Are you wanting used or New? I can put you one together,np. On the table I'm working on a sport 20, working on the right turn fin for it. I'm running the CMB 21 LS in her, after I'm done and happy about the way it runs I may consider selling it.
I can build what you are wanting.

Prefere used.
Would consider New --- (if it don't break the bank). But its only for knocking around. Not much real time would be spent with it.
I hate working in small places... radio gear, engine, ...
Please email me through this site and lets talk. I'll have a lot of ?'s for you.

Been visiting there for a while and decided to post a WTB. Found one on ebay thats got my eye. Its a .21 and larger than what I wanted but if the price is right.... it might find a home.

That's a nice setup, radio + engine too! If the price stays low like it is now that would be a great deal. Shipping is outrageous, but if he refunds the diff like he says then what the heck.
Good luck! :)
