This is from HPI's site
21BB / Nitro-Star S-25
Size - .21 / .25
Horsepower @ RPM - 2.3hp @ 30,000 / 2.5 @ 29,000

that's laughable..
an ofna hyper .21.. not the 8 port, will smoke a stock savage and it's rated at 2hp..
hp ratings are useless anyway as it doesn't give the nature of the engine.. i.e. high rpm power, or low rpm torque..
i'd guess it's somewhere in the upper 1.x range. it's very reliable, but is really a pretty crappy engine for power output.. i've seen tons of savages run and they are slow..

yup.. HPI is full of it.. 2.3hp umm Mabey with 40% and on the edge of death lean while encased in block of dry ice. I've read HPI reply to such posts and they blame it all on Ofna because HPI runs with the numbers that Ofna gives them on the .21bb. (Ofna is the supplier for the HPI .21BB .. which is a modified Force .21)
I droped a 4 port hyper .21 (1.9hp RCN dyno tested) in a savage and it was much faster than the .21bb.
