Hi,
I was racing my XXX-T and I have recently installed the super rooster esc into my car. I do not have connectors going from the esc to the motor just the wires that attach to the motor. I have noticed that the esc has started to get warm after my runs, and am getting very concerned because I thought that esc's are never supposed to even get warm.
Help please,
Tenacious

Well you didn't say what kind of motor you are running or if you are using a good set of battery connectors. But the SR is a very reliable ESC and would take a lot to over heat it. You also didn't state if your motor was getting warm or your batteries. These things will all tell a very different story as to exactly what is happening. If the motor is over geared it will pull more Amps and will heat up the ESC... If the truck has some binding in the gears or wheels or anywhere that will cause the motor to work harder pulling more current and causing the ESC to heat up... there are numerous things that could be causing it.. But I can tell you this I run 3 SR's in 3 of my Clods and on one with dual 14T's in parallel it barely breaks a sweat.
