Hey Bricklin - I live in sanford and am thinking of hitting one of the SC tracks soon, could you tell me which one is the closest? Will I see you guys in goldsboro this weekend? I'm the guy who posted on your websight a while back, I'll have to stop at the track and say hi next time, maybe get Will to eyeball my car for a second or two :D ...

I would be interested in that one, also, I guess I was just trying to figure out which track in SC was the closest to nc boarder is all, any guestimates? I live in Morrisville, close to Raleigh. My son and are definitely into touring cars, nitro and electric. I can't think of a close-by place any better than The RC Speedway in Durham. Don Hill is a great guy who'll always stop to give advice and tips to newcomers, as well as helping out someone in trouble. Brad (Mindblown Modifieds) does a great job of manning the hobby shop, and what other track is located next to a REAL snack bar where you can get decent burgers, dogs, pizza and ice cream???? After Don cut off the bottom end of the road track and turned it into dirt, yeah, it made the road course a little smaller, but better in my mind. It's a nice TECHNICAL layout where control and smooth racing help offset any speed deficit you might have. And walk ten feet or so and you can "do it in the dirt" too. If you don't want to race it first, try it on a Sunday when you can practice. You all should give it a try....I think you'll like it...and if you do, spread the word...let's get some big crowds out there!!!
