I've decided to get the Mad Force but a Terra Crusher owner is pushing me to buy the Tamiya, he says that is better and more durable, I don't think so but wich is your opinion?

If you want to build a kit and get much more speed get a mad force but it will cost a lot more money in the end.
The terra crusher is sort of slow because of the .18 but it is only $380 and it is rtr.

It depends on what you want to do with the truck. For bashing, the MF, but for racing the TC may be better. Does the TC come with any upgrades? If it has a .21 engine, or aluminum parts, it may be a good deal. Hope this helped:)

My opinion is the Mad Force is well worth the money. Its fast and LOADS of fun. Between the two its a no brainer, the Mad Force all the way.

I just put an Epic .18 engine in my TC, now it will will keep right up with my Sportmaxx. I've never driven a MF but its hard to believe that anything handles better than a TC.

TC discontinued?? AAAH!! i hope they keep parts in stock. . .

as far as racing, the MF ... "will" make it around a track, but for racing in general independent suspension is way better. . . my TC will kill a .21 maxx. . . i know it can beat a mad force. . . that, and its amazingly well designed to be able to mask a bad driver so well. . . not that id know about bad driving. . . its my friend jeremy. . . i doesnt know the meaning of "proportional throttle" also, with a better .15, the TC rules. . .

Razoo, how do you like the Epic .18 in your TC? Does it have good low end power? Like much more than the stock .18. That is 1 of the engines I was looking to get for my TC.

The Epic is a great engine. It has alot more low end torque than the stock engine. It will run all day without stalling, it idles great and with the large cooling head it won't overheat if properly tuned. I estimate the top speed of about 35-38 mph which is plenty fast for me, I haven't yet found a track that I want to go that fast on. There seems to be a ton of .18 engines to choose from lately so you probably can't go wrong with any of them. Tamiya will be coming out with the new TNX later this year and most of the parts will be interchangeable with the TC.

I may just wait to see what the new TNX .18 made by OS is going to be like. I hear the new TNX will do wheelies and go over 40 mph. I really don't need to go 40 mph, but it would be nice to have more low end torque to climb and accelerate. The Epic is defintely high on my list. My stock .18 is showing the signs of needing a piston and sleeve after only a gallon and a half of running on the rich side. Thanks for the info Razoo.

The Mad Force is a kick butt basher, but not a racer. I own two myself, and love them. If you want to play on a track, get a T-Maxx or some clone of it.

For bashing / jumping / thrashing the Mad Force is a great choice.
