What are people using for all of their R/C gear? Rubbermaid tote? Delux fishing tackle box, etc. I would like to find one container to hold my car, batteries, etc. to take to the track and use at the track. Post pictures of your "box" if possible.

Well, I'm kind of an "all of the above" guy, in that I bring a big tackle box(with my hand tools, power supply, motors, batteries & chargers), & also a Trinity Hauler bag(has 3 boxes that hold two of my cars, & a selection of car parts, tires, my lathe, soldering iron, car stand & whatever else I can cram in there). Plus, I carry along my motor dyno(which has its own case), a laptop to run it(which has ITS own case) & a lead-acid battery I use to power it.....:p

Me: A silver briefcase-ish thing with dividers with all my tools & a backpack for charger, transmitter & maybe even a lathe if my dad has enough :)

BTW: I usually carry my car

I have all my tools, spare parts and screws in a big tackle box. The I pack my charger, batts, soldering iron, radio, car and cleaners in a big rubber maid thing. Then I use a camping table and chair for my bench. That is pretty much all you need to get racing, a lathe is nice but not nesecessary (generally guys will cut an arm for free or a slice of pizza).

It is nice to have all that stuff once you get serious with racing though.

I just got a waterloo which has tons of space to put tools and parts. I still need to see if I can fit my Power supply, charger and starter box, but it should fit, plus plety of drawers making it easy to put all the stuff in... so far I have 2 small parts boxes in it all my spares and my stater box plus charger... i'll post pics soon if I rember too...

I have a sperate case from sanwa for my M8 radio and I have the mugen box for my MRX-3.

I'll probably end up geting a hudy tire turner sometime... i'll probably just get another big tool box at that point.

I use a big red Holden Racing Team cooler bag... it's real neat lookin and i got it from Big W i think... i reckon all Aussie racers should look at buying one.. Inside i use those single piece plastic trays with the lid and clasps... they fit perfectly in the two side pockets and inside... Also, the padded walls of the cooler bag keep my 3PK safe :D

I have one tool box. I then also have a plastic bag, filled with plastic baggies, filled with parts. I don't break out the bag unless I need to.

All my lubes, hex drivers, glow plugs, glow plug igniter, all in 1 rachet screwdriver, and a few extra aa cells are what I carry in my tool box. basically just adjusting and runnign tools. Any repair stuff I don't bother to bring along.

I use Rubbermaid tote and plano tool box. Makes things easier to carry to the track. Besides, it keeps things fairly organized for me.

i just use a tackle box, and a rubbermaid bin. whats the point of spending money on that when it can go in my 1/8 buggy?

I have a black and decker tool box I purchased it from Walmart for $8usd, in there i have a "large craft box" for screws and zipties and batteries also from walmart for about $1.50usd. That is my electric box... for my 1/8 scale buggy, I have an old black duffel bag that came with one of my luggage sets. The top hand carrying handle holds my buggy down while in the side compartment I can fit 2 radios (right side) 2 wings, car stand and fule bottle (left side) in the front compartment I carry a body reamer, 2 pairs of needle nose plyers, a pair of diagnal cutters, a fully charged rechargable glow starter, a d cell alkiline glow starter, and in the main compartment sets one of the "large craft boxes" a gallon of fule, 2 sets of tires/wheels, and my body...

My first was a tackle box with 4 drawer and top section to hold bigger parts, a plasetic box was used for battery pack. Then I box a pit box (2 styles) made by boxes plus made from plywood.
One has 6 drawers (4small, 2large0 top section is deep enough to carry 4 motor or battery boxes, cans of cleaner etc the other had 4 drawers (2 large, 2 small) with top section deep enought to hold car, radio, tires or charger and battery packs. For weekly racing I use the larger pit box, larger tote (Duratrax Xlarge pit bag)

Haha, when me and my friend go racing/bashing we take my 5 cars and his 2( one is 1.5scale) with us, 2 pitcases full of tools and parts, my charger, 2 transmitters, 2 cans of fuel, 2 freezingboxes(don't know the exact name) full of food and drinks,
chairs, burners for the food, a radio and a shovel(?) so we can make some dirtjumps.
He has a little trailer and a old tent wich he made some sort of construction so we can sit dry when it rains.
Oh yeah, sometimes we have to push his girlfriend somewhere between our stuff on the backseat:p

If people see us they think we are going on vacation!!
hmm idea: maybe i can take my folks caravan with us!!!!

I just use the box that the kit came in to put spare parts, batts, charger. Then I use a duffel bag for the car. Maybe if I had alot more stuff i would need something bigger but this works fine for now.

I have my ancient tackle box which holds my tools, oils, spare parts and motors and whatever other little stuff will fit in it... Everything else goes into milk crates.. I'm actually in the market for a new tool box or boxes... I just haven't found anything that I really like yet... I think I'm going to end up getting one box just for tools, another for off road stuff, another for on road stuff and then a last for chargers, batteries, lathe's and other assorted stuff...
