This is the official announcement of Full Throttle Speedway. Full Throttle Speedway is a seperate identity and is NOT affiliated with ANY hobby stores. This announcement is to clarify any and all rumors, and to answer your questions about the new track. The first race is scheduled tentatively to be held on September 21, 2003. Due to the construction efforts we kindly ask and would greatly appreciate those who may know the location of the track not to share the whereabouts, and to please refrain from visiting the location until further announcements are made. As of this time there are no plans for an onsite hobby shop, although Kissimmee's local hobby shop is minutes from the track.
Full Throttle Speedway is being built to provide ALL R/C ONROAD RACERS in central Florida and throughout the state a permanent place to race and have fun!!! We will cater to 1/12 - 1/5, nitro, electric, and gas powered on-road vehicles.
Track Specs:
Brand new asphalt (unsealed)
250' x 100'
The length per lap is 875'
Meets all ROAR and Ifmar specs
Travel lanes are 15' wide
Painted lanes and barriers
Minimum of 5' between travel lanes and barriers
Designated Pit Lane
AMB Personal Transponder system
8' tall driver stand (permanent drivers stand to follow)
Plenty of pit area
Concession will be availble for purchase
