You can get a set of ten carbide bits that includes four of the ones you need at Harbor Freight Tools for less than $8. Go to dub-dub-dub harborfreight and do a search for "lathe". Good luck!

Are these the bits I need?
Try here http://www.hudy.net/
Those bits are it; and a smashing good deal. 4 bits are right side cut, 4 are left side cut. Depending on the lathe you have, you might be able to install the tool rest backwards to use 8 out of the 10 bits. I bought the wrong diamond bit but still use it cause I can do that on my lathe. It's hudy too, but don't know if they all do that.. Speaking of which, buy a diamond bit if you got the bucks. It's cheaper in the long run and produces a better result.

For anyone that uses a carbide bit, try using the diamond cut wheel to reshape the bit. Just don't take anything off the big flat side, because it'll change the cut height. Harbor Freight sells 6 of them for something like $10, but I think I got mine on sale for $4.
They cut carbide, & ceramic magnets like butter, & last a very long time. I've used one for cutting motor magnets, sharpening my lathe bit, cutting screws, & it's still near the original size.
