My Savage SS backorder was processed!!! They must be shipping.

As of mid afternoon, my savage SS backorder was processed!! It looks like they are here. I hope its not a mistake or anything, but it says will ship within 2 days! I hope HPI decided at the last minute to include that nice new fuel tank and wheel hexes in the SS kit as well. If not I will order them when they get released anyways. Does anyone elses say that it is processing??

UPDATE 8-27-03

The SS kits arrived and were shipped out to our distributors, they should start arriving in hobby shops this week.

All of the SS kits will have updated wheel hex hubs that will grab the wheel better to help prevent stipping the wheels. It is still critical to check the wheel nuts frequently on a big nitro truck like the Savage.

Now all I need is that new fuel tank and I will be set. I wish they would have included that as well.
