I have one. I've bashed with it for many years. This past summer however it was disabled by a speeding stop sign pole. I think I could fix it, but I've moved on to a B4 and started to race it...

i currently race a T2,ive been trying to get bits for it :)
not real easy to find parts in australia.

its got lunsford turnbucles etc, carbon towers, tekin g11 pro speedy, checkpoint 9x1 motor, nomadio sensor radio, rpm arms etc.i really like the way it handles.

i broke my last spare tower, and bent the 2 nose tubes the other day :(
anyone got parts or a full truck they want to part with?

i have raced a couple of meetings running my G11 pro and chechpoint 9x1 and its amazing.slipper is pretty locked up because if i leave it the tinyest bit loose it starts slipping really bad and wont finish a race(might need new pads id say). because its done up tight it tends to wheely on high bite parts of the track which is cool.i managed to pull a wheelie on one section last race meeting and landed the front wheels on the back of my mates T4,fun fun fun. :)
casualties so far are 1 MIP lightweight uni shaft, front carbon shock tower,2 nose tubes and nose plate from a head on with a pole during practice :)

does anyone have any parts for these old rigs?

ebays the best place for parts. mines been through a lot and now it has brushless running in it. towerhobbies still carrys some parts since it shares things with the GT. If you have the manual you can look up the parts. They still have things like the nose tubes, shock towers.

So now it's the year 2006, I've brushed off the dust on my t2 and things are working great. I'm looking for a manual, well, not much to it, but, where can someone fine an online pdf manual for the rc10t2? I've looked and only found the cd from team that you can buy to include all the manuals.

try www.tamiyaclub.com maybe or from this site here http://www.rc10talk.com/ one of them should have a manual

or you could sell it to me :)

Thanks Dallas, I'll look into the links.

Yes, if it was many years ago, I'd probably sell it to ya but what I've learned over the years is to not sell a thing in this great hobby. I still have planes, Helo's and a RC10GT. I think of selling them at times but know not to for I always come back to something or one of them. oh, and I just put a rc18t under the tree... for me ofcourse..//

Are the chassis interchangable between the 10T and T2?

Are the chassis interchangable between the 10T and T2?

I don't think so.
Here's what the t2 manual states;

Now remove the #7301 truck black hard
anodized aluminum chassis from the kit box. Note: If you are
familiar with our products you will see that this is a new
chassis design using our new aircraft aluminum alloy. The
chassis has been engineered to improve the rigidity of the
chassis for both front to rear and side to side. It also features
improved chassis side roll clearance for rougher tracks.

I've tried searching for the chassis part number to see if it was the same but I'm not finding anything..//

I know that the chassis are different, but my friend wants to see if he can use a T2 chassis with his 10T parts.

I have a couple of these and they are great trucks. I still have my first RC10T2 which was bought as an addition to run with my RC10 buggy. Pretty neat with all of the trick hop ups offered for the T2 back when it was on top of the cutting edge. Aluminum CVD's, Milled slipper plates, titanium goodies.... Can't beat the vintage cars.

Basically the entire front end is universal between the T/T2. The rear is bit different with everything being interchangable except the rear bulkhead, shock tower, tranny and battery strap... There are a few other minor differences but it's not worth the switch.

Anyways, keep the vintage RC alive...
