I was looking ito getting a savage ss for my birthday, I asked the lhs about price and the owner said that just about savage he's seen has had the dog bones break, and now my moms worried about the duability. I belive the ss comes with the hd dogbones do these really help the probablem? Also how hard would the engine be to tune (Isn't it the same as the ofna .25?), I've had two other nitro r/cs one I cooked in less than a quart, the other still running strong.

The HD dogbones are an improvement over the standard dogbones that came with the 21 RTR.
The S-25 will be an improvment over the 21bb, but don't expect it to be anything like the Picco. I don't know if the HPI 25 is actually a Force 25, but I would anticipate its level of performance to be similar.

Accutaly I wanted to know about tuning of the engine, is it really hard or does it have way strange needel settings (cause of the short-life of the one engine).

I'd imagine that it would be pretty easy to tune, it only has two needles. The 21bb has three needles, and I have never had a problem tuning it, and it was my first nitro rc car. As far as durability, the Savage is built like a tank. It refuses to break, and I have done just about everything imaginable to it. I once cartwheeled it 40ft down the side of a huge rocky dirt hill, and the only thing I had to show for it was a couple of scratches.
