Any user experience on rangs of Hitec Focus III FM transmitter with Feather receiver?

That's the set-up I use and have had no problems. I think they have been rated at about 500 feet, but I'm not sure. If you are going to be using it in slow flyers, there should be no trouble because your plane would look like a dot by the time you reached the 500 foot limit and what fun is your parkflyer that far away?? However, if you are going to fly sailplanes you might consider the GWS micro reciever. It only weighs six grams with the crystal, is rated at a 1000 feet, and best of all costs only 28 dollars plus shipping and handling for the reciever AND the crystal. Most recievers make you buy the crystal seperately costing you more money. I just purchased one and it works fine with my Hitec transmitter.
