Hey, my dad is going to sears to pick up some better wrenches at 11:15, (1 hour),and he asked me what sizes i need for pinions. I can't seem to recall the sizes. I have like 24 pinions with different sized grub screws. What are the three sizes? RRP pinions use a wrench a little bigger than 1/16. What size is it? 3/32?
Here are the sizes i have so far. .050", 1/16", and whats the other size? Thx- Zack

11 AM Pacific? Eastern? Greenwich? :D

At any rate if you want a *good* pinion wrench you won't find it at Sears, normal ones will always round off eventually, get a hardened steel Trinity pinion driver. Can't remember the size, but hey have him take along one of the screws to fit it.

050"; 1/16"; 5/64" 3/32"; 1.5mm; 2.5mm; 3mm. Those are all of the sizes I have and I never have anything sized differently. I am not sure the exact size that you are talking about, it has to be one of these.

I know I'm too late, but....
The only two sizes that I am aware of is 1.5mm and 1/16". BTW, a quality Craftsman allen wrench will work just fine. Usually the 'L' shaped allen wrenchs aren't that great.

I meant to say eastern...but i did mention 1 hour...its ok, he picked up the .050, 1/16, 5/64, 1/32, and 1.5mm... I hope he got the handled ones, otherwise i will be pissed...I loose and strip those L shaped ones so often, it isn't even funny, the small pinion wrench ones get lost in a heartbeat because they are small small and hard to pick out, on the ground.....BTW i wish i could get some nice wrenches, like RPM, and Thrope, but i don't have that kind of money. THx everyone- Zack
