RPM Clawz Rims [Archive] - Radio Control Zone

Hello,
I have a some RPM Chrome Claws rims and I need to change the tires. I usually boil them but I have never tried with the Chrome. Will Boiling them destroy the chrome. These are plastic rims :) not real chrome of course :) Thanks in advance.

if any part of the wheel is cracked may cause if to peel off more. You can try it if you want to but I cant garuntee that its going to have as much chrome as it used to..

i boiled some chrome ROM TC wheels along time ago and they never looked the same. all the chrome did come off but they never where asw shinny after i boiled them fingernail polish remover will get off tire glue but i have no idea what it will do to the chrome.
