This is an update on the Dirt track at Strickland Park. And the Friday night races at Magnum. Frist and third Saterdays at 2 pm the track opens for practice. Racing starts a little after 4pm. The jumps are all working great. The Strickland park track is in great shape. The largest class seems to be 8th scale. We have a large group of electric trucks as well as a few electric bugys. Oh ya and 1/10 gas too. The electric buggies put on a greaty show last night. The new lights are up at strickland. One more for the dirt track and four facing the other way for the soon to be asphalt pad for on road. The strickland website is daytona-rc.homeip.net. Magnum hobbies Friday parking lot races are still a blast. The 1/10 electric touring is the fastest class on the track! They even beat the 1/10 nitro tourning class. And that is with a motor limit at 19 turn spec. The Magnum website is magnumrcracing.com. Come out and race or come out and watch. Both tracks are as much a social event as a race. We race and have a lot of fun.
