Hello again, our race dates and track build days have changed a little bit. Since the Cross County Mall is open on Friday night for the Halloween Costume Contest, we have decided to race Fri. Night also. So now we are racing Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We are going to start building the track on Tues.-Thurs. We are getting 600 feet of wood from the local Home Depot to build our track. The Main Track is going to be onroad on tile. Then the exhibition offroad track will have jumps but will be oval. To get the club started, we will also be charging a $2 entry fee to the drivers, this entry fee will cover all three days of racing and your electricity, chairs and tables will be provided. If enough people want to race we will try and get some ribbons. We are hoping for a good turn out so that the public can see what we are doing and maybe join in. The last time we did this event, we found a few guys that did not know about the club or where to go when they wanted to race. But he ran across one of the flyers and showed up. We have flyers posted at a few tracks and stores. It is going to be fun. If you are planning on coming, bring a wide range of tires because to find the right ones you might want to try a few. Classes that will be run are as followed: ELECTRIC:Stock Truck and Buggy Offroad(They Can Race The Onroad Also), Stock Touring, Mod Touring, Monster Trucks, Legends, Pan Cars(Flat Surface), and pretty much anything else electric that wants to show up. We raced a Dirt Oval car out there last time. If you think you might be there post here

we ran last night the track was awesome besides we had no grip. if you could get hooked up it would be super fast. We are going to possibly put sugar water on the ground so that we have more grip. But we first have to get permission.

The Main Track is going to be onroad on tile

Yes it is on tile and we know we need carpet but that is alot of money for a beginning club to come up with. Trust the tile is slippery but it allows you to slide the corners, and with foams you can get hooked up. We are also talking to the mall where the track is, and seeing if they will allow us to spread some sugar water or something for traction.
