Hey guys
I was wondering if you guys use swivel knifes to cut your flames? I have tried using just normal #11 blades, and i cant get the rounded edges that I want. i want them to look smoooooth!
Thanks guys
I used one to cut around the tribal pattern on my BMW. You have to be sure to "lead" the blade with your grip and keep the blade perpendicular to the surface, which is hard to do when working on the inside of the body.
If you're looking for one, look in the scrapbooking supply section of a Hobby Lobby or a Michael's. That's where my wife got the one I used.

use a razor...just the razor it self.... its small but it feels right at home in your hand it its light so it wont slip and it'll just glide :)

I've tried using swivel knives but found they pivot poorly and I make more jagged cuts then if I just use a plain old #11 Xacto knife. It takes some practice to get used to turning the handle as you cut but for me it works out better.
