Hey all. My Stampede has a problem, I can't keep a servo in it. I literally broke the gears out of the brand new kit in 2 minutes. Is there a metal set of gears that won't break? How do I get them, what are they called? Am I too rough on the truck or what? The plastic just tears apart inside the servo and I was only driving on the road.

Please help and thanks in advance. Servo Hitec H3003 (I think)

Try a different Servo Saver. The stock one isn't the best.

My friend had the same problem with his Stampede. He bought the Traxxas high torque servo 2055 on Tower Hobbies. It is a pretty good deal for only $24.59, and it gets 80 oz/in of torque. He had no problems what so ever after he put the new one in. The servo is stock in the T-Maxx and E-Maxx

Thanks. You even knew the numbers on that high torque servo. Very nice. That will help a lot.

The stock steering servo is garbage and the first thing that usually goes on the Pede. Any high torque metal geared servo will be a good replacement. It doesn't have to be a traxxas servo there are many better one's out there then that one for the same amount of money.
