Ok

I thought of ways to make intercoolers and was thinking about the rcd way of doing it but i had one of those muscle machines tuner edition rsx that came with a huge hks front mount so i got to work.

1-take apart the car and take the intercooler off.
The intercooler measures 9 1/2 long and 2in high
I would cut the spare lexan 11in by 4 and see how it looks then go from there.

2- cut a space for the intercooler in your body that you have.

3- get a piece of lexan body and cut it a little bigger than your space for the intercooler in your 1/10 body.

4- drill to holes in the spare lexan to make it so both side pipes on the intercooler go through the lexan eqaully.

5- now take the spare lexan and sand then paint it black.
or which color you prefer for the background.

6-let dry for 24hours

7- get some super glue or shoe glue and put the intercooler throught the holes then glue the to holes that connect to the lexan and the pipes

8- then glue the rest of the spare lexan to the body evenly on all four corners.

9- let dry

10- now you have a real looking intercooler
:D :D

heres the mucle machine im talking about

I have the ultimate solution for your intercoolers. I have access to a thirty thousand dollar vinyl printer. I can actually take a pic of an intercooler and print it out to a photo quality sticker. I will post pics and get a price asap.

We have many plotters and a products called the Gerber Edge that can actually print 265 colors onto vinyl. So then you have a photorealistic decal. It's great! I make custom headlights and stuff all the time.

Nice, I think we can do any color, since we have a 4 color proces system too. If anyone needs some decals or something done. Just let me know!

I guess the whole idea of making an intercooler is to make it look 3 Dimensional rather than 2D...
