The trucks are very fast and wheelie all day long, they tend to bounce when landing from big air jumps, and they have funky steering linkage. There are kits that move the servo down to the front axle tube and this makes the steering alot better. The armour has the army body thats all.

I dont own (x factor owner) one but I think they look cool. The only reason I didnt buy it is because I dont like clutter and I think that truck would be hell to clean because its so tightly packed. The x factor is designed to be user friendly when cleaning. You can put your whole finger in between most parts.

What do you wan't to do with it, Race or Bashing? If you are going to race with it, don't buy it. But if you want to do all the things a real Monstertruck can do buy a Madforce/armour. I have one and i do mudpulling, hillclimbing, rockcrawling, jumping, car crushing ( made from toiletrolls), and dragracing with it, it's great at everything. Sure, it's not the best at everything, a T-maxx can be a better dragracer, but then it would suck at rockcrawling. A Madforce doesn't need upgrades, only 4 extra spidergears but if you run it stock and check the screws a lot you'll be fine.
And Monstertrucks with solid axles is are much more realistic:D
It doesn't get dirty very quick, and it's very easy to clean. I just remove the electrical system, put a plug on the carb and spray it clean with the waterhose:cool: , a little WD40 here and there finished, 10-15 min.

Tjappie said it for me it's every thing he said and more. It's tough I've never broke a part it's also funny the things it does because of the three speed, donuts and stuff get all my friends laughing. It's way fun to rock crawl with and it gets crazy with just a little more trigger plus you dont need to ad a better engine right away. Most of the time I get over fifteen minutes on a tank full. It's just a very very fun truck.

The mad force is really fast and very fun! I bought one off Ebay a whiloe back and got totally scammed!!!! (AAAAAAAAARGH!) Then my bro crashed it the time we we were running it so about 1.5 months later the truck is finally running (waiting for parts eh), and its really fast. But the loser who sold us the truck broke the front diff gear (didnt bother to mention that in the auction of course) so its only 2wd, but its really fast. And glides over snow like it aint no thang.

I have an almost 2 gallons Mad Armour. Nice truck, taller than most monster truck. But not as durable as what I am expecting. Some parts are just too weak to handle. Do some research from the net and u will find lots of info on how to make it bullet proof. Keep an eye on the front drive shaft. Steering will be the biggest issue. Well, all the best! Learn how to control your throttle as this beast wheelies all the time!
