That looks so good! R33 Headlights on R34 widebody(which looks essentially the same as the older one) But this one has a fresher look! Take some outdoor shots! What paint did you use?

Yeah, I've always liked the looks of the R33 more than the R34's. It's painted with Pactra's Pearl White backed with Outlaw Black (both in rattle cans).

Thanks.
The body is actually the Calsonic Skyline from the JGTC racing series. I just made it look more like a street version. It's not really called a "widebody".
The rims are from the Raybrig NSX 2000 kit by Tamiya. I don't know if you can get them seperately.

where can i get those Raybrig NSX 2000 rims online?

You put on a couple of light coats of pearl white, then back it with black. I put the black on heavy enough that I can't see light coming through. When using the pearl, try not to hold the body on the outside where you are painting the inside. When I did my first "test" body the heat from my hands made the pearl real thin. I could actually see where my fingers were.:p
I don't know where you can get those exact wheels but tower has another set of Tamiya wheels from the 2002 Raybrig NSX that look very similar. I dont think the have the recessed lip.

I tried getting the "Kure" about 2 years ago but they're discontinued. I've seen a couple on ebay for like $50 but that's too much for a body I would probably mess up:D

I live in Ohio and $40 is about all I'd pay for a body. (I'm not much of a collector or anything like that.)

Please don't mind. in my opinion, i think it's worth $50 for a body. it's 1000x less than a real car. i tried to save that $50 before but finally my girlfriend spend that $50 for me. few months later, she went out with other man. so i would rather get a nice looking car body or hanging somewhere in my room. u know what i mean. and i always think that tamiya is worth to collect. it does good about value but it also has nice design and better looking than other make. :D ;)

will that body fit a tlo1
creep

The "Calsonic Skyline GT-R" will fit the TLO1 if you have straight body posts in the rear. The holes for the rear body posts are located right between the rear wheels. Hope that helps.

Nice Skyline :D
I recently ordered a can of Pearl White and Outlaw Black, and got to thinking I didn't have anything to back the white with, so I searched google and came up with this thread, I had to register just to see how these colors could possibly look without reordering some backing, and I can't believe how nice the outside pic is, it's almost a gunmetal, anyway it will look sweet on my f360 :D
[edit] sorry to bring up an old post, i didn't think about it till after i posted please don't hurt me :(
