trim tabs

i recently bought a nitro hammer and i was curious as to how do adjust the trim tabs? do you bend them with plyers or do you drill new holes for the screws? i would like to raise the bow alittle so i believe i would raise the tabs or bend them toward the surface.

if they are one peice metal u have to bend them. i would take them off the boat first bend them in a vice then mount it back on..if there adjustables there should be a screw in the middle u just turn that whatever way an it moves it up or down.
