model engine information...manufacturing materials and processes

Hiya, i am currently doing a mechanical engineering degree, this part of the course is about materials and manufacturing analysis of a model engine.....


what i was wondering was if anyone had any specific information on the subject, for example, the % composition of the metals in the metal alloys for the crankcase (Aluminium-Silicon i believe), or any good info, or websites of the manufacturing processes used.
