How does the RTS system works on the TRAXXAS boat?
Is it connected to the main prop or a separate prop (folding??)
:D

Believe it's on the same prop. has an electric motor with battery pack. Don't know this 100% but I think that is what I've read someone who had one. He dumped the return setup to save weight anyway cause it was so heavy.

Hey guys, I've been running r/c cars and trucks for about a year now and since i live on a very large lake a boat seems like a natural progression. Looking for a good first boat, preferebly rtr and nitro is all i'm interested in. Any suggestions?
was concidering Miss Bud but have read a lot of bad stuff on the forum. Anyone with any experience? Thanks in advance for your help.

One simple answer, no. The engine setup in the Miss Bud is tight as it is. Next if is was doable you'd have to make room for a 550 can motor to sit off to the right, add a clutch and a battery pack to power the motor. Add the wiring and you'd have a mess not to mention the extra weight that would slow it down even more. Save you coin and get a cheap inflatable retrieve boat.
The motor sits off to the side near the clutch housing and when the motor is activated, a gear flips over and engages on the clutch can. Kinda hard for me to explain.

I started out with a hobbico air force. I got arr and put an o.s. .46 blue on it. It is nice and simple because you dont need to mess with driveshafts and everything is out in the open.
