falling apart

today the exhaust bolts worked loose and the exhaust came off the engine. Is there some sort of gasket that goes in between the 2? or can i just tighten the bolt and get going again?

My .16 nitro did the same thing before a little loctite on the threads. Don' tknow if this is completely right but yes mine had a gasket. I used black rtv gasket maker that I had and it works fine.
