Newb question on tires.

Hi all,
I'm brand new to R/C racing(except for a couple of radioshack cars). I'm getting a Tamiya Dirt Thrasher for my first car. Just wondering, because it has the knobby tires if I can get some street tires for this car or not?

You can run it on the street but the tires will weat out much faster.

Some HPI Super Nitro RS4 wheels and Pro-Line Dirt Hawg (Rear buggy) tires will fit fine.
