I really hate this plastic cover on the radio components.
Don't you, guys, have a better solution for that?

Tape it each time ???????????????? YAK !

I tape my lids each and everytime but I'm going to add a waterproof plug that can come out so the box can breath when not in use.

You could beef-up the edges enough to screw on a cover if you wanted.

Hockey stick tape man. Easy on easy off no mess or glue residue.

on my ms bud i painted the servo covers red and made everything look nice inside. then i added a waterproof switch and a charging jack so i dont need to untape whenever i have to check or charge battery.

After running mine one time, I decided to make my box cover out of my patented setup.
I have epoxied some 1/8x3/8 spruce under to radio tray lip, reinforced a new piece of Lexan with the same size spruce on the top. Epoxied everything and used stainless button head 6-32 screws. What I use as a gasket is the hobby foam found at Hobby Lobby. It comes in two thicknesses and I use the thinner of the two so the lid does not warp under the screw pressure.
I cannot post pics since i do not have a D.C.
Pool Testing shows it to be a great seal. Now onto replacing the control rod gaskets. There are three of them and one seems to be a pain to get at.
