Hi guys, As some of you know I'm new to the whole boating world.

I'm mixed on which Catamaran (Cat) I should get. I'll be putting a Homelite engine in it..

And If possible I want it bigger then 45"

These are the Hulls I was considering. LMK what you think

1) For-A-Buc 60" Fiberglass Hull ($190)
2) Aeromarine Cyclone 45" ($280)
3) Aeromarine Team USA 43" ($270)
4) Aeromarine Avenger Pro 44" ($280)

And there is this one hull that I saw that I like. The website referred to it as a 72" Capricorn Cat. Anyone know where I can get one?

This one would be my choice if I were buying a Gas Cat.

Click on Catamarans on the left.
Forabuck ripped off Expresscraft by splashing their hulls but has sold a bunch of them. His mono hull is an Aeromarine splash.

OK, for those that don't know, "splashing" is copying by making a mold from somebody else's boat. The person might make subtle changes to avoid Copyright laws.

Hmm I like that Cat...

Anyways, Will the For-A-Buc hull still be durable? Because right now it's $100+ cheaper then any Cat hull i've seen..

Also, when I look at cat's I want them to look like an actual off-shore powerboat. That's the only reason I'm not planning on a Racing Cat...

I just saw the Expresscraft MTI 60" cat.. and it looks Very Nice.. but $350 is a bit much. But I'll sell some of my RC Cars..

Forabucks boats seem to be laid up pretty well. He uses a heavy wood for the engine rails but not the best quality. I have seen more than one of his mono hulls but not the Cat yet. He seems to work with his customers if they have any problems. I myself have a problem buying a hull that after somebody has gone through all of the work of getting right after a lot of trial and error work, then having someone make a mold of it and selling it as theirs. I was surprised at seeing who was buying them, one was a boat builder himself! I won't comment on who it was though.

How big of a motor are you putting in there?

It depends what Size boat I get.

If I get the Expresscraft MTI 60" Cat. what size would you recommend? I'd like to have dual props.. So I was thinking maybe dual 23cc Homelites (If they fit)???
