Electrifying the SLOWPOKE

I have decided to convert my Great Planes SlowPoke to electric and would like some opinions.

I have a Goldberg 550 7.2 volt motor on a Master Airscrew 3.5:1 gearbox.

Does anybody have an idea as to the amount of battery power I should use?

thanks for your reply.
using motocalc, I found that my guess work wasn't far off.
it actually told me I need less power (less money too) than I had guessed
