Anyone heard anymore updates or rumors about the new monster truck and what it will have on it, when it will be available, etc.? I was thinking about buying an XTM Mammoth, but might wait till info on Losi truck comes out. Thanks.

we've only seen spy shots and Losi hasn't even said much(or anything) about the truck so i'm sure it'll be awhile before we even hear a tentaive production date. I'm sure as soon as Losi saw AE making an MT they had to jump into the ring. What i like about the AE BFT is that its a true MT... fast, big as hell, loud and suspension that is plush as a cadillac. From what it looks like Losi must be looking for more of a racer MT which is cool.

Right now the MT scene is friggin' huge. If you are looking for a racer MT check out the new GS Storm unlimited. Based off the GS Storm chassis and if you happen to have a Storm that truck is 75% compatible with its parts. (Good news for me!) If you want a straight up MT with lots of power and the ability to do anything aim for something like the AE BFT or XTM Mammoth. The Mammoth looks like a very capable truck and it is real quick compared to most MT's. I knew the T-maxx wouldn't be the fastest MT on the block for too long.

If you want to be patient and nothing on the market is really appealing CEN is coming out with that new .30 MT quite soon. they had a prototype at the vegas show that ***** had coverage of and it looked pretty bad ass.

Anyway if i where going too look at a new MT i would probably go with the that Storm Unlimited because i'm big into racing. Otherwise i would look at either the Savage .25 or the Mammoth.

I just got my AE Monster GT this week and I have to say it is definitely all AE promised and more. I also have a T-Maxx but I really love this MGT. It is great.

I also got a mgt this week. I have to wait till x mas to break it in, and run it. but the design and craftsmanship is out standing.

the drive train spins freely and it looks to be bigger and tougher, faster? not faster, but with a upgraded engine it should be.

I like the mgt, its realley thout out.

TC3Racer, are you thinking that the Losi monster truck will be more of a racer type monster truck like the GS Storm which would mean it will set lower to the ground and handle better with probably a BIG engine (.27 or better)? This is what I would be looking for. I sure wish Losi people would give us some kind of a hint to let us know what will be coming. Later, Bruce

If its losi there will probably be two kits, one normal one with everything but the chassis composite, and a Driver Name Edition where its all graphite and has extra metal.

Losi make good trucks and im sure it will be a beast but im staying with my Sirio .18 powered Maxx

Go to R/C Tech.net forums for more info on the truck. I promise, it will be helpful.

It has a .27 engine. Shocks are huge. Has two modes of driving, one speed for climbing , and a 2 speed for racing. Its huge!

I got a reply to an email from the Losi co. and all they said was that they were still working on it, so it sounds like it will still be a while yet.

i like true MTs also ( well as true as possible) IE MGT, mad force, savage, and lately XTM mammoth ( and ive seen conrad REX-X truck), and what i like about GS is that they callesd their truck 1/8 stadium truck, cause thats what it is, its not true MT its just buggy with large wheels, and bigger wheelbase
