I was just looking through the ebay listings on hopped up t maxxes, you'd save a lot by looking at a maxx that someone else spent $$$$ on hardcore or Unlimited engineering alum hop ups, the are selling trucks that cost several thousand bucks for 500-900. They will have already replaced all the stuff that breaks- a arms, bulkheads, drivelines, etc with alum stuff. I ended up spending about $10k on three radically tweaked trucks, save yourself some bucks and buy of of these on ebay for a little over the price of a new stock truck. ( no I'm not selling mine) I just got one as a Christmas gift for one of my sons, and saved about $1500 over the cost of the parts. The nice thing about maxxes is that there are tons of great parts available, so you can make it anything from a basher to a screaming 3hp unobtanium monster. Have fun, they are fun for the whole family. If you want a detaile list of parts I'll send them to your email. Here's a pic of of of mine. .247 all hardcore and Unlimited engineering rocket.

you need to stick with corresponding..or the same colors..you have
pink
orange
blue
silver
yellow
red
and black..
not trying to be mean..i think that that truck would go good with blue/silver/black

Well lets see your three all alloy trucks, I've got 10k into 4 trucks, I change around stuff to get max performance, not to get the color swatches to match. What was the question, something about ***** eye for the straight racer? Mine are the fastest thing at the two local tracks, and this one is basically red, white and blue, I don't make trailer queens, that's for people who don't race, or can't afford the performance. I always have a crowd of people around my pit asking questions about the trucks, but this is the first about what color they thought it should be.

i have a 2.5maxx and i LOVE it. I have not had ANY problems with it or the engine. (and customer servise is A+++++)

as far a hop-ups go- the t-maxx is number one when it comes to aftermarket support.

i would avoid going with all that aluminum crap. yeah it looks nice, but thats about it. sure it may make it bullet proof, but i dont think the added weight is worth it. I have RPM (RPM replaces there stuff for free if it breaks) shock towers and bumpers. and thats about it. i'm happy with it as it is. the only i have had to replace is a front drive shaft because a dog got ahold of it while it was going pretty fast and it broke the yoke.

for x-mas i got the proling steering bellcrank/servo saver b/c my high-torque servo is stripping out the servo saver. and my next mods after that will have to be the proline prgressive shocks and a werks racing pipe.

Always support your LHS (local hobby shop) when you can. if your LHS really sucks or you dont have one, check out www.towerhobbies.com
