I don't see that engine wheeling much better then an .18. It weighs more too.

What kind of comment is that? Of course its going to weigh more because it a bigger size engine but all the power and torque coming out of a .21 will give you all the speed you need.....

I'm going to side with MasterGt on this one. sure the .26 has power and you get all the stuff you need in the kit other than possibly the tranny and diffs might or might not take the extra power. where as with a .18 you can get a orion wasp .18 for a direct bolt in for under 100bucks and for the money you saved I think it would be a better option.
that is the route I'm going to take .18 for under 100bucks same if not more power than the stock 2.5 trx for less money why not? so it's not a big block so what? I like bang for my bucks. and for the price of that dynamite kit you can throw in a few more bucks and buy a savage new and have another truck instead of just one truck. and 2 trucks are always more fun than just one truck :>

wrong thread, oops
Back on subject.
The Picco engines, traditionally, have had expensive replacement parts, making them expensive throw-away engines. It costs almost as much to rebuild one as it costs to buy a new one. They're fast, though.
