Helicopters are not toys. They are very dangerous machines in the wrong hands. I suggest you find a local hobby shop or a rc heli pilot locator online to fine someone to help. I can answer any questions you may have. I fly 3D for about 4 years now. The engine may or maynot be damaged. The swash plate from looking from behind the heli need to move in the direction of the stick on the transmitter. The collective servo needs to move the swash according to the pitch. See there is alot to know about this hobby. You NEED to find help or a local club in your area.

Ditto the previous reply. You are not going to teach yourself helis without spending major dollars for repairs (been there done that not fun). Find someone to help with the set up and training even if it means a long drive to find a competant instructor.
