savage 21

i have a savage 21 with a 52 sper gear
I want to put a 49 gear in it
what will this do for me ??:confused:

u will probably end up losing speed and power at all speeds
i dont think that the 21 can really pull the higher gearing, i put the 52t gear in my 25

well i have a truckzilla kit .46 in it now ?

Smaller spur gear and bigger clutch bell will give you more top speed if the motor has the power to pull it. The .46 should have plenty of power. You should go a little faster with going to a 49 tooth spur gear.
