What is wrong with the GD? I think it is one of the best looking bodies out there...

I went to stormer hobbies in orlando flordia yesterday, I have the bft, and i brought it with me, they had a grave digger 1/8 scale boddy by parma.
it was the most acurate 100% perfect fit, its not too skinny, not to wide, and the wheel base was spot on,
I was all set to buy it, but I also got a picco .26 P3 monster engine for my bft, as performence is more important than style,
but I am deffinately going to get the grave digger boddy for my mgt,
we will need to fabricate some long boddy mounts for the rear, but thats just a small hurdle,
I think the 1/8 gd parma boddy is 100% perfect for the mgt, I wish I could of afforded it, but the engine was 180$ and im not made of money:(

A couple others that should work nicely are:
Terra Crusher body - available unpainted on Ebay
Mammoth body - also on Ebay
I know these are not the best options, but they are options. Or else just order a clear body from AE and paint it up yourself:

Generaly speaking, yes the Parma bodies are not that good looking, but the GD are really good looking (it's a quite easy body to make though)...

The (stock) TXT-1 body are shorter than the GD, if the GD are a prefect fit for the MGT then a TXT-1 body will be to short...

IMO i think the slightly shorter bodies look cool because the bumper sticks oul like on a real truck. I dont really think that the GD body looks that great.

Well, IMH(P)O it looks completly retarded having a body that is to small (to short)...

you guys should pay attention to your aftermarket companies. Pro-Line Racing (http://pro-lineracing.com/proline/bodies/maxx_body.html) has bodies that fit just about all monster trucks. it even says "MGT" at the top of the page.

ive seen a pic of a mgt with the proline ext cadalac boddy on, looked ok, but I imagine its too thin for the mgt, and if the boddy touches the header, it will melt thru.
I still think the parma grave digger boddy is the hot ticket. you dont even have to paint it like grave digger.
you could do a wild custom design like mr RC. Jack did. his truck looks awesome.
this is a pic of my man rock dawg's custom mgt rock crawler, with savage shocks, and totaly custom gear reduction unit. http://www.hpisavageforum.com/forum/attachment.php?postid=77418

No offence to no one intended but the H2 just looks awful...
*EDIT* I don't mean the one posted here, that one is, by far, one of the nicest H2's I've seen...

yes they will. if your worried about how "scale" the body looks on the truck, then you might want to start looking at everything else on your vehicle. any body will fit on any vehicle with the right mind set, a good pair of lexan scissors & a dremel also helps. i put a hpi rs4 onroad chevy silverado body on my off road stadium truck, and people cant stop telling me how cool it looks. and its not the paint job by no means thats drawing the attention. you guys should pick a body that you like and make it work so your happy!!
